Story of the Day...Charity?

Yesterday Bush, getting a lot of face time lately, asked the American people to donate to the Red Cross. Earlier in the week, Congress rushed together to vote for $10.5 million in hard cash to pay for the damage down south. A helluva load of money that came from someplace, like when I look in my couch for extra change.

Charity has already been collected. Insurance premiums have been paid and will now be collected. There wasn't fresh water and food the minute the hurricane blew over- that was the tragedy.
